Where it all began

In 2020, I moved from Japan to Norway and began a new chapter of my life.

 

As I settled into my new home, I often found myself missing Japan. Living with Norway's long winters made me appreciate the changing seasons I had grown up with even more - the delicate blossoms of spring, the vibrant days of summer, and the familiar feeling each seasons brought.

 

I began to wonder : could I capture a little of those feeling in a fragrance?

 

That simple wish became the beginning of "minaurora".

 

Yor own aurora

Inspired by Japan's four seasons, minaurora grew from my desire to feel connected to home, even from far away. Through fragrances, I hope to share a little of that beauty with you - whether Japan is part of your own story or somewhere you have yet to discover.

The meaning of "minaurora"

The name combines the Norwegian word "min", meaning "my", with "aurora" - my aurora.

 

To me, the aurora is a quite reminder that beauty can light up even darkest sky. I wanted to bring a little of that feeling into everyday life.

 

My hope is that wearing a minaurora fragrance feels like wearing your own aurora : an invisible glow that helps you feel more confident, more yourself, and ready to meet the day.
